The goal of Instructor Summit is to provide learning tools to support new and legacy instructors. Based on a series of on and off-track workshops, Instructor Summit is a purposely designed resource where ideas, experiences and learning can take place. Instructor summit is your launching pad for new instructor development while the Instructor Candidate is still in a DE program. (This is called Phase 1). Phase 2 is your actual Instructor school, clinic or ITS (this is similar/same to the MSF Level 2 Cert). Phase 3 is when an instructor is certified.
Any new or aspiring Instructor may attend. Any driver may attend. The program is geared toward Instructor development however all discussed concepts will help the non-instructing driver as well. There is no age limit and drivers from all clubs, makes and groups are welcome. One of the great things about Instructor Summit is the wide range of experiences our attendees bring to the table----instructors learn from other instructors.
We host and promote workshop-based events that help instructors learn. Attendees will be exposed to theory, role play, possibly simple data analysis and also receive constructive evaluation from peers and experts. Just like a good instructor preaches "seat time, seat time, seat time", our events are structured so you will learn, practice, review and repeat. Many of the techniques from Ross Bentley are put to use so solid theory can be put into practice. Recommended reading: Ultimate Speed Secrets: https://google-url.com/oKA8y
